Day 3 Hot Spring + Emerald Pool

by - June 21, 2017

The private van picked us from hotel at 8am and straight to Hot Spring. Ouh, don't forget to have your breakfast! Thanks 7E!

We were only given around 45 minutes at the Hot Spring. Since it's a HOT Spring, it's only recommend to be in the water for around 15-20 minutes. The natural pool is not that big and luckily we arrived early and we managed to stay for a while there before are a crowd came in.

After that, we went to Emerald Pool. Blue Pool, which is only for viewing purpose was closed at that time. There's two route, 0.8km and 1.4km from the entrance to the Emerald Pool. TAKE NOTE THAT IT IS VERY SLIPPERY around the pool! I fell very hard once (big bruises on both knee) and nearly fell for the second time! Just walk on the wooden pathway and you'll save yourself from falling down,  trust me!

It was then raining (pretty heavy) right after we changed our clothes. Since we didn't bring umbrella or even raincoat at that time, we just walk through the rain and soaking wet when we arrived at the entrance. You can buy some food or eat at any restaurant for lunch nearby the entrance. Since we run out of time, we just bought some food and eat it in the van.

Even though it's a half day package,  we actually arrived at our hotel around 3.30pm that day.

After a hot bath at the hotel, we went to ask the hotel receptionist for transportation recommendation to the airport the next morning. Since our flight will be right in the morning (7.30am), he recommended us to take private taxi which cost us 500 baht.

For our last night here, we picked another AWESOME place for our dinner; Ton Ma Yum Kitchen! We really made a good choices for dinner for the three nights! I really LOVE the Glass Noodle Pad Thai (mix with Tofu + egg) here!  MUST TRY and definitely come back for it again.

The Best Vegetarian Pad Thai!

After some walk, we went to have a massage to another massage parlor; Dee Dee Massage.  For this time, we tried the back neck and shoulder massage. They will only need you to open your top @ shirt and they'll use some oil to massage your back. It's really an awesome experience!
Reggae Bar!

We went to Reggae Bar for the night since it's recommended in the Internet and also by the receptionist. We really have no regret going here. The song selection by the live band is super cool with their reggae beats!  You can also request any song and don't forget some tips to them. The reggae atmosphere is really real here!
